Periodic Table of the Elements

A completely up to date periodic table of the elements poster. It is a very well labeled periodic table with more information than most other periodic tables have the space to put on them. Up to date with the newest elements to be named in quite some time:

Periodic Table of Elements PosterElement 110, Darmstadtium (Ds)
Element 111, Roentgenium (Rg)
Element 112, Copernicium (Cn)
Element 114, Flerovium (Fl)
Element 116, Livermorium  (Lv)

Clorine Box on Periodic TableAdditional changes are the mass changes for 10 elements. It is the really the biggest change that has been made to the periodic table in more than a hundred and fifty years. Atomic weight was always taught as something standard. Work done between 1985 and 2010 though brought out a new understanding of just how "standard" these weights were. In 2011 the IUPAC accepted the new ranges for 10 elements. New atomic weight ranges for: hydrogen, lithium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, silicon, sulfur, chlorine and thallium and shown as intervals on our table. The Standard Model of particle physics is a theory concerning the electromagnetic, weak, and strong nuclear interactions, which mediate the dynamics of the known subatomic particles. Because of its success in explaining a wide variety of experimental results, the Standard Model is sometimes regarded as a "theory of almost everything". Although the Standard Model is believed to be theoretically self-consistent and has demonstrated huge and continued successes in providing experimental predictions, it does leave some unexplained phenomena.

Important Features of the Periodic Table

Image of Periodic Table Legend

Element Names are color coded to their state at standard temperature and pressure

Electron shells are listed as well as drawn out. (For the much younger grades this helps to show how all elements are made out of the same "stuff". The "stuff" is just organized differently and as you go up in atomic number the atoms have more "stuff".)

Most important is this periodic table of the elements is totally up to date with the 10 most recent mass changes and 4 new element names.

We put together this video to show you just how tough our posters can be!
